Education Fund for Quincy and Mariah Siff

Brian Siff left us the morning of April 25 after 10 months battling Stage 4 cancer. He endured radiation, chemotherapy, having a rod placed in his leg after his bones deteriorated, major back surgery and many other challenges during this time.

Brian's amazing wife, Cara, was Brian's caretaker during this entire period. Brian had been unable to walk for the final month, and was bedridden in the final weeks. Fortunately, Cara's profession as a nurse and her loving spirit made it possible for Brian to remain at home - his wish - versus being in a hospital or other setting. 

Brian and Cara's two incredible children - Quincy (8) and Mariah (6) - will live on with Brian's spirit within ... a spirit of kindness, caring for others, and love. Cara and Brian had the foresight to begin an Education Fund for Quincy and Mariah, and all monies contributed through this campaign will go toward their future education.

NOTE: Cara and our family have been overwhelmed by the love and support shown through this fundraising effort. Our original goal of $15,000 was reached on April 30, and we humbly increased it to $20,000 that day. At ages 6 & 8, who knows what higher education will cost in 10 years.
