ASHRA KWESI’S EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO KEMET (EGYPT) IN July OF 2020
I have made the decision to go to Kemet (Egypt) this summer. For 25 years, I have taught classroom lessons on the importance and significance of Afrikan civilizations, particularly, Kemet, to World, American, and Black history. Unfortunately, I have never been to Afrika in my life. This educational tour of Kemet will help me expand my teaching professionalism on history as it relates to ancient Kemet (Egypt), Afrikan spirituality, Afrikan religions, Afrkan culture, and Afrikan history to my students at Weequachic High School in Newark, NJ.
