Educational Trust for Addison and Landon Duquette
On November 13th, 2024, the Duquette family lost their loving and doting husband, father, and provider, John Paul Duquette. For the last several years, John has led the family through unimaginable circumstances as their mother, Courtney, confronted her own battle.
In the summer of 2020, Courtney was diagnosed with a stage 2 meningioma brain tumor. Though Courtney's tumor was successfully removed via a 14-hour operation during the COVID lockdown, Courtney has since experienced lasting effects from both the tumor and operation, which rendered her continuing to battle multiple physical ailments to this day. Courtney and John's collective strong will, determination, and kind-hearted spirits, allowed them to provide a wonderful life for Addison and Landon despite the challenges that impacted their young family.
With John's passing, he leaves behind his two precious children, Addison (11), Landon (8), and wife Courtney, to navigate an uncertain future. John was their rock and doer of all. He was a tireless servant leader, quietly playing many roles throughout their life. Friend, protector, provider, administrator, Dad, son, and more. He was so much to so many. His loss is immeasurable in words, much less what he meant to this family.
We're raising funds to help support college educational expenses for the children. All funds raised will be placed in a custodial investment account and provided directly to the children for their education pursuits.
On behalf of John, Courtney, Addison, and Landon, and their extended families - we express our most heartfelt gratitude to our extended family, friends, and communities, for the support of these sweet kids. Though this is a trying and uncertain time, Addison and Landon will be cloaked in love by many and supported non-stop as they navigate the next chapter of their journey.
In John's honor and memory, thank you.
