Edward Eschete

Hi, First of all thanks for all the prayers for Edward (EJ). I am EJs mother and it has been a very rough year so far. EJ is a severe type 1 diabetic and has been in danger of losing his foot for about 5 years. He was put in ICU at the first of January with a suspicion that he was going into heart failure because he had gained over 50 pounds in December. They have diagnosed him with stage 2 Kidney failure. He has lost that water weight with the medication he is on.

EJ had been wearing a hard cast for over a year. He developed severe pain in that ankle and I finally convinced him to let me take him to the hospital because nothing would ease his pain. After they ran blood work they found that his ankle had him in a septic state and they put him in the hospital. The next morning he went to surgery to clean the infection up and when the doctor got in there it was found that the infection was spreading up his leg and several bones had been eaten away which included his heel. The doctor recommended amputating his leg from mid calf down. They amputated his leg the next morning.

EJ hasn't worked all this year and had missed a good bit of work at the end of last year. He needs financial assistance while he is recuperating. I live with EJ and my Social Security will not cover all of the bills each month.

EJ is in hopes of returning to work as soon as he is able but we really need help in the meantime.

If you can find it in your heart to make a donation to help it would really bless us in maintaining our bills. EJ has health insurance but he doesn't have a disability policy so, he has no income until he's able to return to work.

As I stated in the beginning of this statement thank you for your prayers and they are still needed.
