Edward Steber Memorial Walkway

Edward Steber was born in Shickshinny and was a long time resident of Mocanaqua. After his wife passed in 2018, to help him cope with her loss, he began to walk and hike in area while taking pictures and posting them on Facebook. He became a prolific photographer and seen the beauty in the area that most people don't, you see it in his photographs. Sadly he passed away in January of this year.

There is a walkway that goes from Mocanaqua to Shickshinny, which he walked so many times taking his pictures. I am trying to raise money to have artists paint his pictures along the wall of this walkway to honor his memory and for visitors to see his photography for years to come. One painting was recently completed, and I covered the material cost, and the artist donated her time. There is plenty of room along this walkway, and I would like to have 10 paintings done this year. Each painting would cost around $200.00 for materials and to give the artist something for their time.
