Edwards Family Expense Fund

What Jonathan and Lyndsey thought was a regular trip to the emergency room, last Saturday, February 25, turned into every parents nightmare. The Edwards family had been sick with a bad virus when they took Dayley, their six year old middle daughter, to the hospital for what they thought would just be for fluids. After running some tests, Dayley’s numbers weren’t looking normal. She was transferred to the pediatric ward at Kennastone hospital for further testing and evaluation. Later the next day, the doctor came to Lyndsey and told them they were going to be transferring Dayley to the ICU at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta because she was in liver failure. Once there, things went from bad to worse. Dayley’s other organs began struggling as her body began being filled with toxins her liver couldn’t filter. Dayley was intubated and began fighting for her life. This past week, Jonathan and Lyndsey have had both heartache and rejoicing. They have had indescribably hard days and also had days where Dayley’s numbers improved. Right now they are on a roller coaster of emotions and events as Dayley’s body is trying to heal and recover. Jonathan and Lyndsey trust the Lord and it has been evident that He is with Dayley and the rest of their family. He is carrying them through this horrific storm. However, with the time Jonathan has spent off from work and the financial aspects of life that do not go away despite having a family emergency, Jonathan and Lyndsey could use some support in this area. Please consider donating if you can to their family so that they can continue taking care of Dayley while not stressing about paying their regular bills and meeting their regular financial responsibilities. Most of all, pray! Pray for this precious family and their sweet girl, Dayley. They are all tired and in need of some encouragement during this difficult time.
