Edwina and Jose's surrogate Journey.

Edwina and Jose Garcia are two loving and, most of all, selfless individuals. To know them is a true blessing. In January 2006, these two beautiful souls connected and quickly fell in love. Coming up on what will be their 10th wedding anniversary this month, August 24, 2022, I feel compelled to share their story.

Early in their marriage, like many newlyweds, they decided to purchase their own home and fill it with little ones. With love in their hearts, they bought their home and began their journey to build their very own family. Unfortunately, they were unsuccessful after 9.5 years of trying to get pregnant. After many medical appointments, second opinions, surgeries, tests, labs, IVF attempts, and most heartbreaking, loss, they found out that medically, their chances of carrying their little one would not be an option. This process has been emotionally and financially exhausting for them.

So, after deep thought and prayer, they have decided on surrogacy. The surrogacy journey alone is one filled with great emotion. It is also a cost that, at this time, one too great to bear alone. Their sacrifices are countless and have left them financially strained. I say this, and I know I speak for many of their close family and friends; this cannot be the end of their baby journey. Edwina and Jose are always there when you need them. They have so much love, devotion, and faith!

After many conversations and convincing, they FINALLY agreed to allow me to share their story and allow others to help (as they do for so many). So today, I share with you their journey and ask for your support and prayer as they navigate this new baby chapter.
