Update from the Edler Family.

Update on Liam:

Today for the first time in 9 months Liam was strong enough to support his own weight standing, they had him standing in his stander for an hour and a half and was happy the whole time. His weight is up to 26lbs and getting stronger day in and day out!

Please keep sending prayers and positivity for my son, everyone’s kind words and thoughts have been keeping my family and my son in a positive mindset to be able to fight this! he’s fighting a tough fight and he is winning!!!

Hello my name is Kristi and I am starting this fundraiser to help Tommy and Kathy offset the costs associated with the ongoing and extensive care of their sweet son Liam Edler. Liam has been diagnosed with multiple rare disorders (eosinophilic esophagitis, epileptic encephalopathy and tuberous sclerosis syndrome) and has been hospitalized on and off for his entire life. Liam has recently been moved into a rehabilitation facility that is an hour and a half away from home. The expenses of travel, medical care, and the constant need to be at his bedside has been a huge financial strain, and made it impossible for Kathy to maintain employment so that one of them is with Liam while the other (Tommy) works. They are also working hard to make sure to keep things as normal as possible for his big brother Xavier. Any help that we can give them will aid them in paying bills, travel expenses and any other expenses associated with his care. With the holidays approaching, I thought it was a necessity that we do whatever we can to try to make a difference.
