Meals for Kids with Cancer in Gaza: Ramadan 2022

Be intentional with everything you do this Ramadan, especially your charity. With every good deed that you do, it will be the intention that matters most.

Ensuring kids with cancer get nutritious meals seems obvious, but not in the Gaza Strip. Due to the siege on Gaza and the movement restrictions in place by the current regime, families are often separated and these vulnerable children are left alone for long periods of time, all while battling cancer. With COVID-19 restrictions still in place hospital kitchens are shut down, and with skyrocketing poverty and unemployment the families of these cancer patients need our help and support.

Providing these meals not only ensures they receive nutrition, but helps ease families minds who cannot be there for mealtime or frankly afford nourishing meals.

We are working with partners on the ground to provide these nourishing meals to sick kids at Al-Rantisi Pediatric Specialized Hospital, the only pediatric cancer department in Gaza.
