LIFE SAVING SURGERY NEEDED

My name is Shannon and I am close friends with Jeff and Janine. In fact, I worked with Janine at the fire department for years. Janine worked as a Firefighter/Assist Fire Chief/Public Education Officer for over 18 years. Janine had to stop working in 2012 because of the toll it took on her body. Unfortunately, when you leave the fire department you lose your medical insurance. Jeff is currently working just to have medical insurance for Janine since he retired from the police force after 29 years (but we all know how bad medical insurance is in today's world) so I am starting this "Go Fund Me" account to help pay for her upcoming surgeries. 

Janine needs another cervical spinal surgery that if left untreated will become life threatening soon. Then once healed from that she needs surgery on her lower back. Her first cervical surgery, years ago while still working at the fire department, was just under $100,000. I can't imaging what two spinal surgeries will cost!!! 

They have both given so much to our local communities for years I feel we can step up and help them in their time of need. The money raised will help pay their cost after insurance and time off for Jeff to take care of her.
