Charlie Needs A New Trailer

Hey, I am Andrew Jones (Jonezy). My good buddy and one of the best fly-fishing guides in Colorado, Charlie Schmidt, was in an unfortunate accident on Friday, 6/2/2023. After driving to Idaho Falls and back to Summit County (1170 miles round trip) to pick up his brand-new drift boat, he was rear-ended half a mile from his home. Charlie and Trigger (his dog) are ok physically. The new boat, which has never been in water, has some scratches. His truck has a few scraps and dents. His trailer is a goner.

Charlie is a great friend and always there for anyone who needs help. Insurance coverage from the other driver is unknown. Charlie earns his living as a fly-fishing guide and this is a big blow to someone who does not deserve it.

Any funds raised will go to the towing expenses and replacement of the trailer. Summit County and Fly fishing community, let’s help a long-time local and brother out. Let’s help Charlie, just like he always does for everyone.
