Help Titus walk again
Donation protected
Hello!
I want to start by saying, thank you for taking the time to read this and share this story.
Titus is our 4 year old blue heeler. We got him when he was just 6 weeks old and our daughter was almost two. They've been bestfriends since. We have now added a baby to our family and Titus has done just what I thought he would and has loved and protected our newborn as well as the rest of our family. I have thousands of pictures and videos of how Titus has changed our lives and how loved he is in our family.
Overall, he is a very healthy and happy young boy. However, he was recently diagnosed with Ruptured Cranial Cruciate Ligaments. Originally, this started in his left leg and as the vet assumed it being a bilateral injury, it has happened to his right leg as well due to the overwork. Titus is becoming completely immobile on his back two legs very quickly. Unfortunately, surgery for just one leg is guesstimated around $5,000. It is imperative he has surgery on BOTH legs. As you can imagine, this is our familys last resort as those are not numbers we can come up with on our own in a timely manor. I have contacted COUNTLESS veterinarians to find something affordable, reasonable, and have even tried payment plans. We have also maxed out Care Credit.
So, here we are - asking our community to help out our boy. Our daughters best friend, my best friend, our family member. I 100% understand times are rough for everyone right now and donating to a dog may not make much sense to you. Please at minimum share this post and know that it means everything to our household.
Thank you, kindly.
