Hello, We are Jocelyn and Rob.
We have 2 beautiful girls, Melissa (14 yrs) and Angeleena (11 yrs).
Together we are Eclectic Family Growers a small Veteran owned and family ran organic farm.
One day (a couple years back) we were discussing with our girls about life, people, the world, money, and how hard life can be sometime. Some people here and around the world simply don't have enough to feed their families.
Well needless to say, the girls were very upset by this. In wanting to solve the little issue of world hunger... they came up with the idea of having our own farm. One that is ALL natural, NO hormones, NO pesticides, NO GMOs (we teach them about the crazy things in food today and why they shouldn't eat certain things, they didn't like that either).
So we moved to beautiful Goldendale, Washington and now we grow all the fruits and vegetables we want.
We have also been raising goats, ducks and of course chickens for the past year.
For the past year the farm has been lucky enough to be able to sell our healthy products right off the farm straight to our now loyal customer base. This has been wonderful!
We love meeting everyone at the door, but we feel that we need to reach and help more people eat better.
With the right amount of donations, we will soon be in a great possition to team up with local restaurants and stores in the area to bring healthy food to even more people. All donations will go towards upgrades to the fencing and structures we have already built on the farm. It will also be used to add more chickens to increase egg production and the expansion of the the goats area to get ready for new babies in the spring.
We at Eclectic Family Growers really believe that no food shuld be wasted. So what we've tried to do is donate.
We want to be able to donate a percentage of the crops to people in need. Give to churches, family centers, and veterans! Give to whomever is in need.
In attempts to inspire and teach our children, we are inspired by them!
Life can be made simple by helping others.
So help us by donating to our all natural family farm!
It's just the beginning but its a start. Hopefully soon we can buy the land and farm they want to help others in need. Thank you! xo
