Help Dan Rebuild his Home

Dan Thoreson is my neighbor, a feisty old guy with a heart of compassion for people in need.  He's worked for everything he has.  Change that.  Everything he had.

A motorcycle accident damaged his leg awhile back and Dan spent months in the hospital enduring four amputations.  Then, when he was finally home again in late winter, a fire awoke him.  Dan escaped, but his house, his truck, his tractor, and three dogs were reduced to smoldering embers. 

Dan had worked construction all his life.  He knows how to rebuild, and he is eager to start.  The trouble is, Dan had no house insurance.  Dan's appointee had not paid the bills, including the house insurance bill, while Dan was in the hospital. 

Dan regularly has invited homeless people into his house. Now he is homeless, living in a borrowed camper with another homeless person. Dan is eager to start building on the old foundation--he has the tools and know-how from his years in construction.  

Your assistance would be a lifesaver for an old man, and show him there is still love in the world.
