Pandemic relief for EG Salon
Donation protected
Dear Clients and Community Friends,
At this time of extraordinary uncertainty and unprecedented challenges , we had to close our Salon due to Covid-19 emergency mandates and ultimately lay off dedicated, hardworking and very loyal Employees.
Although there were some programs that were put into place like the PPP , and EIDL loans, there are many grey areas that will require us to take on more debt, and that wont be practical for our business model.
This Pandemic has dealt a devastating blow to the beauty industry and we are trying to wrap our head around how to cover the expenses that are waiting for our return. An incredible amount of you have been so thoughtful, kind and generous to reach out to us and inquire about the best way to support us during this difficult time. We appreciate that more than words could possibly ever say.
During our search for grants, we found that GOFUNDME has an program which will match up to $500 that we raise here through the #smallbusinessrelief initiative. There is currently over 2 million in that account helping small businesses. Very cool that people have been so generous.
We understand that many people are experiencing challenging times now. We will be forever grateful as no donation is too small. This community has helped us to build this business for 10 years . In that time we have helped so many with our efforts and donations. We would like to continue to support your schools, fundraisers for years to come and hope to continue to provide Central Connecticut with quality professional services and support.
We desperately want to continue to provide you with the best services and healthy practices upon our return. This money will be allocated to covering all PPE, Rent for 3 months, utilities, inventory and Payroll for our staff to bridge the gap between the salaries that will be altered due to possible restrictions put into place for our new normal . The owners will not be accepting any of these donations for their personal gain.
Among other things, this virus has taught us the importance of connection and maintaining hope. We will get through this together! Please keep us all in your thoughts and prayers and we will do the same for you… please share this link with your friends if you can too! Stay safe and healthy out there and we look forward to seeing you at the salon when this is all over. #gofundme #smallbusinessrelief
