Help Us Keep Our Home-Gina & Fernie
Donation protected
My husband, Fernando, and I are at a crossroads in our lives that we never imagined would happen to us. We are asking for help from our family and friends, and anyone else who is financially able to help us keep our home.
We are the perfect example of what happened to people due to the great recession of 2008. All those times President Obama talked about people who lost their jobs and had problems finding work, that was me. And even with health insurance, the mounting medical bills and no way to pay those bills, would eventually cause us to declare medical bankruptcy.
We've been struggling for awhile. . . trying to pay all our bills and our mortgage, and now we are currently behind in our mortgage payments, and need help catching up. I know if we can only catch up, we can remain in our house and keep going forward.
All we want is to live in our house and continue with our music and our lives, for as long as we can. There's not enough time or space to go into details, but please contact me with any questions. I will be happy to share more information with you.
We've worked very hard on our house over the years and made many improvements. (See pictures below.)
Our house in the Fall of 2001:
(We built the wall out front and planted the tree, bushes and plants. There was nothing there before.)
Our house currently in 2015:
(We changed the color scheme from blues to brick red and tan around 2008.)
