In Loving Memory Of Agnes Oppong-Peprah

Hello, my name is Christabel and myself and my brother are raising funds for our mother’s funeral.

Unfortunately, our mum Agnes passed away on the 9th of November 2024, due to a 15 year battle with kidney failure. In 2019 our mum suffered with a blood clot which was situated in her left leg and due to it becoming infected her leg was amputated. It has been a non stop battle but through it all our mum still fought through. In 2021 our dad passed away suddenly with a heart attack and that was when all sense of hope decreased. After the passing of our dad, our mums health deteriorated drastically. She was admitted into hospital for three months and suffered with tuberculosis in her spine which made her paralysed from the waste down which made her bed bound. There were so many health issues that our mum suffered with and due to that she had to be taken into a care home for 24 hour care, which was very expensive.

Both our parents were a pillar in the Ghanaian community as they were very charitable and helped a lot of people. It’s been hard, especially after our dad passed away myself and my brother haven’t fully grieved his death and now our mum is gone.

We’re raising funds to give her the befitting funeral she deserves, as her wish was to be buried beside our dad. As mentioned previously the funds will go towards her funeral expenses, the headstone, opening up the grave me and my brother acquired for our dad and also setting up a kidney charity in honour of our mum to honour her and spread awareness about kidney disease/failure, better treatment and the importance of having check ups.
