Support for Amy and Chad

My name is Sarah Cripe, and I am writing to raise money for my sister Amy and her husband Chad Richardson. Over the past year, Chad has continued to get sicker and weaker, having a multitude of severe health symptoms. After having the full spectrum of tests, doctors’ appointments, physical and occupational therapy appointments, and medical treatments, Chad was diagnosed with lupus anticoagulant, peripheral vascular disease, a working diagnosis of Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP), and most recently a mass was found in his left leg. While Chad and the doctors continue to narrow down the final diagnosis, Chad has a long road of continued treatment, and testing ahead.

I would like to raise money to help Amy and Chad in the upcoming months and years. Amy and Chad would like to make home updates to help accommodate his growing disabilities, making daily tasks that were once simple, now arduous. His immediate need is a handicapped-accessible bathroom, but Amy and Chad would also like to replace their bedroom window. Since Chad is mostly bedridden, a larger window to look outside would help increase his view of his garden and backyard., helping brighten his space and lift his spirits. Donations would also be used for additional housing updates and to help pay for medical expenses.
