Dixie’s Medical Expenses

This morning our sweet Dixie Lou jumped out of the truck resulting in a broken back leg. After rushing her to the emergency vet they have determined that her leg can only be fixed by placing pins and wires, a very costly procedure that will be preformed monday. The surgery can only be preformed with half payment down and we are expected to bring her home on Wednesday with full payment. This accident was completely unexpected and we’re now left scrambling to come up with the $3,000 needed for our girl to get the surgery and come home. Any little bit helps and we’re forever grateful. For those of you that don’t know our fur babies, Dixie is a very active and energetic one year old lab, she means everything to our children. She will have a long road to a full recovery and the next 4-6 weeks she will live her life in a cast, kennel, and cone.
