EHS Boys Soccer #ENDALZ Awareness Game

Edwardsville High School Boys soccer will be hosting an Alzheimers Awareness game versus Alton on September 23, 2021, at Tiger Stadium. Alzheimer's and other Dementia-related diseases are progressive neurological diseases that cause the brain to shrink and cells to die. More than 3 million new cases are reported each year with 5%-6% of the cases reported being classified as early-onset Alzheimers, or patients diagnosed under the age of 65. Alzheimer's does not just affect the person with the disease, but their loved ones as well. The money raised by the game will go to the Alzheimers Foundation of America. The AFA strives to provide support, education, and services to individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's. The money raised will go towards ensuring that every person, every family, will have the support they need.
