HURRICANE FLORENCE RELIEF EFFORTS FOR EMERALD ISLE, NC

#EISTRONG

I will try to keep this short and simple. Our little beach town has been ravished by hurricane Florence. Homes, businesses, and cars flooded, roofs torn off and families misplaced. This is just what we know so far as the majority of us are still evacuated and anxiously waiting to return.

That being said I, Brandon Broome, plan to put together an organized team of volunteers to  help THOSE WHO NEED IT MOST. I would like to do this in a somewhat organized matter. Here is the plan:

Volunteers meet each morning, split into teams, make a plan and get it done! This will mainly consist of manual labor but there will be many other ways to help. 

Here is where your donation will go:

-Tools/equipment
-Safety gear
-Food/beverage for volunteers

Please be patient as I am currently putting together a team to assist me in organizing this effort. I have already had my inbox flooded with volunteers willing to help.

A little bit about me:

-I am from Sacramento California
-Spent 7 years in the Coast Guard(4 in Emerald Isle) conducting drug interdiction and search & rescue. 
-Currently I am a local photographer/videographer. 
-Deployed twice last year to Texas with Team Rubicon aiding in disaster relief efforts much like our current situation. 
-Much like all of you I love this community and want to do anything I can to help!
