Raising Funds for Community Artist Studios & Fine Arts Gallery

A longtime Suffield resident, and local artist is working to open an art gallery and creative studio space in town —and we’re reaching out today asking for support from the community!

The space is 5,000 square feet and originally functioned as a tobacco processing facility. There exists a beautiful, historic, industrial feel-- which we intend to honor and preserve. The space will function as a large artist community and gathering place. There will be private individual artist studios for rent, a formal art gallery / event space, and classrooms / workshop space.

We plan to host variety of events for the community throughout the year, including artist talks, workshops, classes and special exhibitions. Events will be designed to bring people together and foster a sense of connectivity through art and creativity.

We’re still in the renovation stages, however we already have 10 wonderful resident artists working with us, many of whom are ready and anxious to teach classes! We’re all so excited to help enrich the town and build a more active art scene here in Suffield.

We are reaching out asking for your support today, because while we have made amazing progress, there are still several large scale renovations that need to take place before we are able to open our doors to the public. Please help us overcome these last hurdles and make this vision come to reality!
