Support Eileen go to D.C!

Hi, my name is Eileen Rodriguez, and I’m 16 years old. I am currently a junior at South High Community School. I’m part of Bruce Wells Upward Bound at Clark University, which targets 1st generation and low-income high school students to attend college/university. I’ve been part of UB since my freshman year, where I have met amazing people who have led me to be the best version of myself.

Now that I'm a junior, I’ve started to think about college and thanks to UB we are able to attend an extended college tour to Washington D.C during Worcester Public Schools spring break vacation (April 15-19). In order for me and other junior scholars to attend this trip, we have to fundraise $1000 each to be able to cover the price of everything. This trip is going to help me get to know another place outside of Worcester. As a person who immigrated from the Dominican Republic at 9, I think this would open doors for me that I did not have before, especially to get to know historically Black colleges and colleges that I wouldn't have the opportunity to see if it wasn't for UB.
