Éireaid: Irish aid for Ukrainian refugees

My name is Julian, and although I live with my family in Dublin, I am currently working in Bucharest in Romania. I am with a group comprised of 8 churches and 2 NGOs providing transport, shelter and aid to the increasing number of Ukrainian refugees arriving from the south-eastern part of the country. They are trying to raise €22,000 to buy another Transporter (van hire is costing them a fortune). The vans are used for enormous bulk shopping expeditions and the delivery and collection of aid and refugees. They are working between Bucharest and both Palanka (on the Ukrainian/Moldovan border) and Izmail within Ukraine itself. 

They have also just opened a 5th refugee housing centre. To make everyday life more bearable, they need donations to help fit the house with stoves, fridges, washers, dryers, beds, warm blankets, and other necessities.
