Dee Ann and Jack Need Our Help
Donation protected
Please help Dee Ann and Jack pay for mounting hospital and medical bills, navigate uncertain legal fees, and give them peace of mind to focus on Dee Ann’s recovery.
On Monday, May 1st, Dee Ann dropped Emma Rose off at school and headed to work when the steering navigation and traction control on her Prius malfunctioned, forcing her across two lanes of oncoming traffic where she collided with a van.
Dee Ann is lucky to be alive. She received 7 fractures, including her 5 lower lumbar vertebrae, her pelvic bone, and her sacrum. Her car was totaled beyond belief. Fortunately, the other driver survived and is doing well.
If you’ve had the good fortune of knowing Dee Ann, you know how special she is – one of the most positive and supportive people who goes out of her way for others. While the hospital bills and insurance fights have begun, and the stress of out-of-pocket specialists mounts, Dee Ann has remained focused on her family, and on getting well.
She’s been in the hospital since May 1st, with months of recovery ahead of her, and still, she’s staying upbeat for her weekend visits with Emma Rose, making fast friends with the hospital staff, and remaining optimistic despite chronic pain and uncertainty for what’s to come.
Please consider giving what you can to ease Dee Ann and Jack’s financial burden, and to help support this family during this trying time.
Thank you!!
