Help Jeremy Heal

Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
Our homestead and permaculture farm was hit by a wildfire in late June causing significant loss and property damage, much of which was not covered by insurance. Shortly afterward, our son Jeremy's health began to rapidly decline. With your help, we are hoping to raise enough to cover the medical expenses incurred so far, as well as the projected costs for the next six months of Jeremy's treatment. We are deeply touched to have so many of you offer to help us financially or otherwise. Your donations will allow us to rehabilitate the land and continue to care for our son through this challenging time.

Jeremy has always been bright, handsome, kind, and athletic. Despite the best nutrition, love and nurturing we as a family could offer him, he has experienced lifelong medical difficulties. When he was young he developed neurological tics (involuntary body movements). We had hoped he would outgrow them, but his recent wisdom teeth surgery inflamed his neurological condition severely and caused further nerve damage. Since August Jeremy has needed 24-hour care which greatly limits our capacity to work regularly and all of our resources have been directed toward his healing. He has been experiencing full-body pain, had multiple infections and other complications that prolonged his healing from surgery. The chronic pain and recurrent infections resulted in frequent episodes of screaming and full body convulsions day and night. After seeing many doctors and undergoing various testing, we recently learned that a major contributing factor to Jeremy's neurological condition is heavy metal toxicity (most likely from contamination in the soil and water). All of this has affected his mental, emotional and physical well-being and caused great hardship for our whole family. Our youngest son has also been going through major trials related to these situations and seeks support finding a place to live on his own.

Jeremy's mounting healthcare costs include daily doctor appointments, medications, supplements, and non-opioid pain management, most of which must be paid out of pocket. Though we received an insurance settlement for the fire damage, much of it went to paying for Jeremy's needs since we were unable to earn our usual income. Therefore we haven't been able to replace a lot of what we lost in the fire yet and still have much to do in order to rehabilitate the burn area. We so appreciate any donation, large or small!!! Some of you may also want to support us through purchasing our products available hereWe would like to offer:
