Good News! Steph gets to keep her boobs!
Bad News! She has to be in Petosky for radiation five times per week for five weeks, after enduring two surgeries to remove the tumor.
Steph was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. We tried to convince her to chop Morticia and Gomez right off and call it a day, but the doctors had a different plan of removing the tumor and hitting it hard with radiation. Unfortunately, the first surgery wasn't as successful as they had hoped, so she has to have another surgery next week before starting radiation.
Our big-hearted (and now smaller-boobed) Steph chose helping people as a Social Worker over her back-up plan of becoming a millionaire hedge-fund manager, so this is a daunting situation in more ways than one.
We are hoping Steph's family and friends could help ease the stress a little by helping her financially during the radiation treatments, especially so that she can have some options other than driving 4 hours round-trip daily.
Alright, that's the long and short of it, hit the button below and make it rain. Any and all help will be very, very appreciated.
