Joe Hassler Emergent Surgery & Hospitalization

Update:

Great news, my brother discharged from the hospital and is home! He has some obstacles ahead of him, but he’s on the path to healing. My mom is staying with him for awhile to help out, and his CO friends and family have been amazing helping care for him too. THANK YOU to our family and friends near and far that have donated to his GoFundMe which definitely helps alleviate stress while trying to heal. Much love and so much gratitude to you all, Heidi ❤️

Original post: Hi all, my brother Joe could please use your help. He had a bowel perforation for which he required emergent major surgery and hospitalization. He thankfully is improving but it will take a while to recover. Joe works with a custom home building company and has no health insurance. We are working to establish him with medical assistance as he will need continued medical care. However in the meantime, he will be off work for awhile recovering and will have living and medical expenses. Joe is a quiet and private guy (not like me lol) and it took a lot of courage and strength for him to give me permission to share with you all what is is happening with him and to ask for your help.
