Dear Equestrian community, neighbors, and friends of Susan McLain;
As many of you know Susan suffered cracked ribs, a punctured lung and broken collar bone in a riding accident on Friday morning Sept. 5th. Her trusty Fjord Earl jumped away from a car as they were riding west down the shoulder of 220th St. near Lisabuella (Earl is usually unflappable with “normal” traffic!). Susan ended up in the ditch and the car sped away without stopping. She spent 8 days in Harborview and is now home recuperating and rehabilitating. I have known Susan for a number of years and I see her having 2 great loves - riding her Fiord Earl and music - she plays the harp professionally and is a self-employed musician, "Greensleeves Harp". This accident is going to keep her from both for some period of time to come.
Can you help? Yes!!!
