Ekomotiv is a fun-loving & practical way for all of us to work together in consciously shaping our shared economic reality & bolstering the ecological integrity of the planet, regardless of where we call home...
Ekomotiv is an "everybody collaboration!" -- specifically, a two-part, member-governed consortium, open to all & comprising:
1. The Ekomotiv Foundation
= Collaborative Innovation, Project Development, Funding & Implementation, and Collaborative Systems Dynamics Modeling
= Joint Project Development & Funding w/ Other Entities (Public & Private)
2. The Ekomotiv Co-op Network
= Ekomotiv's Physical Manifestation
= Civic Ownership & Decision-making
= A Practical Vehicle for Meeting Ever-day Needs in the Critical Sector of Transportation (fuels, vehicles & infrastructure)
= Meeting Every-day Needs in a Manner that is Both Mutually Beneficial & Empowering of a Sustainable World
Every $ we spend as consumers is a potential vote cast for the world we want to live in, and the significance & value of our untapped potential for mutually-beneficial collaboration & innovation in the economic sphere is both profound & immense.
Ekomotiv is a collaboration & system-dynamics framework designed to utilize the interconnecting streams of our mutually-generated economies, from the local to the global level, to bring about positive change -- thriving communities, social equitability, and a healthy planet -- through critical-mass collaboration, informed & purposeful decision-making, resource-pooling, informed consumption of sustainable systems in our everyday spending, and collaborative project development & implementation.
Let's start collaborating, with intention, and making each dollar count in creating a world we can be proud of -- a world of mutual good health & genuine happiness!
As further detailed below, this campaign is aimed at funding completion of the websites for The Ekomotiv Foundation & the Ekomotiv Co-op Network, covering the processing fee to obtain tax-exempt status for the Foundation, and to cover some basic living expenses of the project coordinator.
Once launched, the Ekomotiv consortium (The Ekomotiv Foundation & the Ekomotiv Co-op Network), will be powered by project proposals generated by members (including YOU, if inclined to join the fun), member votes, pooled member contributions, and other financial resources, including donations, grants, and the net earnings of the Ekomotiv Co-op Network (once up & running).
Membership is open to all & based on a self-determined contribution. When the website is ready, we'll launch a second campaign to get the word out to everybody & you'll be able to join & set up a personal account...
From there on, we'll all be at the wheel of this collaborative adventure together, and the possibilities for the good that we can achieve will be literally limited only by our imaginations, innovative capacity, collaborative potential & the laws of physics.
The initial focus of the Ekomotiv consortium is on sustainable modes of transportation, in the broadest sense, and related systems & infrastructure. As you read on, what potential projects come to mind for your local community or other region(s) in which you take an interest or are involved?
With any questions or suggestions, please email Mark DeTray, Project Coordinator, at: [email redacted]

This campaign is to fund the final stage of Project Development for launching The Ekomotiv Foundation & the Ekomotiv Co-op Network. Both the Foundation & the Co-op are open-membership ‘collaboration nonprofits’ -- Once launched, they will be wholly governed by their respective Membership. The Ekomotiv consortium is dedicated to economics “of the people, by the people, and for the people.”
The current conceptual goal of the Ekomotiv consortium is to generate positive change & community empowerment by supporting & developing sustainable modes of transportation through member-governed and, in the case of the Co-op Network, a member-owned nonprofit business network. The specific objectives of Ekomotiv include developing & providing:
⇒ An empowering social environment
⇒ A user-friendly interface for members to submit concrete project proposals
⇒ A robust voting platform for members to prioritize projects
⇒ A robust platform for project funding allocation by members to their projects of choice from member contributions, other donations, grant funds and, in the case of the Co-op Network, net earnings
⇒ Increased access to electric / high-efficiency vehicles across all demographics,
⇒ Sustainable fuel systems & related technologies,
⇒ Automotive financing & insurance at nonprofit rates,
⇒ Infrastructure for walking & bicycling
⇒ Consumer ownership in the critical sector of fuel & transportation
⇒ Critical mass, as consumers & innovators, to empower a shift from non-sustainable fuel & transport systems to viable, healthy alternatives.
These objectives all serve to empower healthy communities, socio-economic equitability, and ecological integrity.
The scope of activity of the Ekomotiv consortium is ultimately limited only to the creative & common-good aspirations of the Membership, and is anticipated to broaden & evolve over time.
Together, without a question, we have the ability to transform the world into a truly happy & healthy place! The key is collaboration -- through our considerable power as consumers, innovation & philanthropy -- & physical networks of 'collaboration nonprofits,' such as the Ekomotiv Co-op Network promulgated here.
As inspired, please help fund this initiative...
