The El Camino wrestling team is looking to raise $12,000.00 for new mats and equipment. The mats in our room are 25 + years old and the gear we loan out is old, we also don’t have enough for all the kids.
We have 42 kids including ten girls , we are low on girl singlets and team bags. We haven’t had this many kids in 10 years so we hope to continue to build the program and have a solid boys and girls team. We are one of the lucky ones to have a wrestling room so we want to add a few more pull up bars and new workout equipment to go with it. With Covid a lot of schools lost their wrestling programs so we are grateful to still have one. The program and kids would greatly appreciate the upgrades to the wrestling room so we can continue to work hard, get better and represent El Camino high school.
