El Centro Hospital Food for Doctors
Donation protected
Just as things were starting to cool down, a massive spike in Covid-19 cases has happened again. People continue choosing to socialize in person and choose to forsake the mask. While these people are wandering around aimlessly, increasing the number of daily cases, doctors and nurses work on the front line. In Imperial County in California, a county which borders Mexico, the problem is severe. Farm workers cross the border into the US to work, helping the cases in the US to continue to climb. One hospital, El Centro Regional Medical Center, is on a "divert" status, turning away Covid-19 patients, air lifting them to LA, Sacramento, and even San Francisco. The hospital is currently treating over 60 patients. Doctors and nurses continue to work day and night to ensure that loved ones don't have to bury their loved ones. Like any other normal human, these doctors and nurses have to eat. So why don't we help them with that? Even just $5 is enough to keep these doctors and nurses productive and reward them for a job well done. Whether it be Pizza Hut one week or Panda Express the next, we want to ensure that they feel cared for. Every Friday night, let's get them the dinner they deserve!
