El Cora Animal Sanctuary

El Cora is an animal  sanctuary located in Puerto Vallarta , Mexico. El Cora's
mission is to rescue disabled and endangered animal species.

The rescued animals are rehabilitated through the care of Cesar Lucano, a
passionate Marine Biologist. In addition,the animals at El Cora count
with the unconditional care from Veterinarian  Alfredo Prieto .  After the
animals are in good health they are successfully released to their natural
habitat.

Nevertheless, sadly some animals are found in severe and
extreme poor health conditions. Making it impossible for them to leave
the sanctuary, through passionate care and dedication “ El Cora” becomes their forever home.

El Cora Sanctuary is self-funded and does not receive any government grants or  agency funding. Depending primarily on tourist donations which has become
nonexistent since the pandemic started.

It is truly magical to watch Cesar and his team give so much back to Mother
Nature. We are asking for your help to continue with this labor of love, all
donations will be used to feed and give medical care to each animal that is
rescued.

This is a wonderful way to give back to Mother Earth that has given us so much.
