El Opa (Robbie) emergency

Donation protected
The Sunday before Thanksgiving my brother was in a low speed motorcycle accident. He was not at fault in this accident. He was wearing a helmet too. We all thought was okay, but while in the ER he started to lose consciousness. They rushed him to get second CT scan. They discovered that he had a brain bleed. He was unconscious for several days and intubated two different times.

He is awake now and recovering. Unfortunately this injury has left some residual deficits that require inpatient rehabilitation for a few weeks.

If you know El Opa (Robbie), then you know him to be kind and generous. Hes always been like this. The same person that finds, repairs, and gives away bicycles to under privileged kids several times a year for no reason other than to give them something he and I enjoyed when we were kids, a sense of freedom and independence.

Just like any of us, he and Donna have a home and bills to pay for. Not being able to work is financially devastating for just about anyone. He is home now, and still not able to return to work yet. The bills are still coming in.
