Rob Renz was a true “Texas” gentleman who deeply cared about his family, friends, and community.
He came to the El Paso Area a few years ago, with his 80 year old mother joining him shortly after. Rob served in the United States Army and had been seeking medical care for the last few years. He was suffering from PTSD, Tinnitus, and Insomnia.
On January 10th Rob went one final time to seek help from the VA after several failed attempts at treating his ailments Rob gave up. He must have felt there was no end in sight and he shot himself in the parking lot.
He has left an immense hole in his circle of loved ones and friends. Most importantly his mother who he cared for (Nikki).
Rob supported his mother Nikki financially and the family can really use the funds to have a few months of financial stability while the process this tragedy.
Rob is originally from Balmorhea, Texas. The family is very thankful for all the love and support the community has shown.
