El Salvador Tropical Storm Amanda Relief Aid

Hello friends. I don’t really know where to start with this. I think the world over is fed up with 2020 and we’ve all taken a hit whether financially, mentally, or emotionally given everything that is going on. However, it is with sadness and necessity that I feel obliged to start and share another ‘gofundme’  initiative for El Salvador. Besides the Pandemic, El Sal is now suffering from the severe impacts of Tropical Storm Amanda, which dropped almost a foot of rain in 3 hours on May 31, and over the several last days and particularly last night (June 3) was again causing heavy rains and flash floods.  For those who asked, my house is fine and that is not a concern at all, however I have neighbours whose houses have literally fallen into the river, and many others who have lost pretty much everything.  I will be funnelling any donations through the local family at Surfer’s Inn, who have been working hard and continuously throughout the Pandemic and now in the aftermath of the storm to provide relief assistance.  I can assure you you it will be well spent and I will ask for receipts.

Please if you can, donate even $1, $2, $5, or $10.  Literally ever dollar counts.  I will be forwarding this message directly to some of those that I know love and have enjoyed the beaches and vibes in El Sal, but please do not feel pressured to donate if you can’t. I understand that there are so many causes right now and I do encourage everyone to support those causes they feel most urgent and close to in these times. No matter where you are around the world, this is truly a moment in time when we can make a difference. Please do whatever you can to bring more love and light into this world.
