Elaina’s Medical Treatment
Donation protected
My wonderful cousin Elaina was diagnosed with cancer in May 2020. She has fought and battled hard every single day just to be here. Diligently following doctors' orders and trying to ensure she got the best care she could. It has not been easy against the backdrop of the pandemic. Appointments were rescheduled, and even cancelled. Nevertheless, true to her shining character she remained upbeat and positive. No matter what happened, her children and family have always come first. Her fight and will to live was all for them.
Time is of the essence. Please click the link and donate today.
I have been genuinely in awe of Elaina's strength throughout, and although I always knew she was a total gem and that I could always rely on her, I truly never knew of such resilience before this.
Heartbreaklingly, the chance to continue this fight has been taken from her. The only treatment which offers hope is not available on the NHS. It can only be obtained privately. Elaina's only way to keep fighting is to seek funding for this treatment.
As you can imagine, this is not cheap and while it didn't come easy for Elaina to take this decision and reach out for help, her single-minded desire to survive, to live, has left her with no other choice.
Elaina has 2 beautiful children, aged only 6 and 3. Leo and Christina have a selfless, loving and caring mum. They need to have as much time with her as possible. They need their mum in their lives for as long as possible so that she can continue to be there for them, care for them and teach them to be strong for whatever battles they may face in the future. The thought of a lack of funds preventing this breaks my heart as I am sure it will yours.
The goal is high, the specialised treatment is expensive but I believe in our community, and I believe in humanity.
The target for this fundraiser is £50000. It sounds a lot, it is a lot, but if you break it down, we need just 500 people to give £100. I think this is achievable.
All donations are welcome and received with humble gratitude.
