Send angel & Elaine on a Big Ride

THANK YOU - for arriving here. We’re still working on the page, but you get the idea...

We are raising money that will go towards upgrading angel's motorcycle to one we can BOTH fit on, so that we can ride up the coast to Mendocino together, where we will pick up the final set of our rings before our wedding on June 12, 2017 — hence the amount "$6120," which also happens to be the 50th anniversary of National Loving Day.

We will share this campaign—adding facts, photos, highlights from our parties and whatever fun & enticing incentives we come across to keep YOU engaged to us—through February 1st to give us time to plan the Big Ride that will kick off our life journey.

BACK STORY
We both love motorcycles, but Elaine got rid of hers before we met. angel has a sweet little black Honda Rebel (of course) which has served her well, but it's really a little city bike she used to get around. But...when we are both on that bike with proper helmets, our heads knock into each other (really, who is supposed to sit in this amount of space for any duration?) Elaine has a Prius, which is fuel efficient and gets us around, but a motorcycle lets us reduces our footprint even more.



WHY MENDOCINO?
Mendocino is where we both find deep connection with the meeting of land and ocean.

We took our first trip there as friends and have returned through different phases of our relationship, finally finding our set of matching tri-colored rings to mark different steps onto our path together:


Rose for our initial engagement;
Silver for when we shared it with close family & friends;
Gold for our wedding ceremony this coming June.

The ride to Mendocindo is to pick up the final set of rings which will be fused with the others to create one single ring. It will bring us back to the location where we comitted our lives to each other. 

We will be really grateful, safer & much more comfortable.
