Hello all,
I am writing on behalf of my co-worker and friend Elaine Mendoza. For those of you who do not already know, she was diagnosed with stage-3 breast cancer in March of 2021. Unfortunately, due to her diagnosis and the multiple forms of treatment she must endure, she will be absent from work for a significant length of time.
As many of you may have already experienced with family members or loved ones who have gone through this challenging time in their lives, bills start to accumulate rapidly, whether they be medical or personal. For this reason, my immediate co-workers and I have collaborated to start a GoFundMe account on her behalf in the hopes of assisting her financially while she battles this terrible illness. The stress that comes with fighting this disease is more than enough to weigh heavily on a person’s mind, let alone worrying about how their bills are going to be paid while out of work.
Fortunately, Elaine has a solid support structure with family and friends to help her through this difficult time, but with the incredibly high cost of medical treatment, sometimes even that is not enough. If you could please join me and my co-workers in donating any amount you can, I know she will be more than grateful for the assistance. No amount of donation is too large or too small and every little bit helps.
