Mom & Dad are Being Evicted

We are sharing this humble GoFundMe effort with our parents' permission for your kind consideration and prayer.

Landlords and city policies have been evicting seniors from their apartments; they tell them it's for renovations, but once expelled, the landlords put new tenants at a much higher rent. My parents had been renting their apartment for nearly a decade; they were given their eviction notice and have until the end of January to be out (2024). They are not in age and health for continued stress on their wellbeing. Rent in the city is currently unaffordable for our "blue-collar" kind. And so my wife and I will build an addition to our house when we've reached the necessary financial goal. Mom and Dad have bunkered in with us until the project is complete. It is our blessing to care for them as best we can, along with the EastCoast church of Christ (1 Tim. 5:8).
