Help Electronic Music Club build out their first storefront!

My name is Erik Carlson. For the past three years my company, Electronic Music Club, has been working with schools in the greater Portland area, to teach students how to write and produce music using exciting new software and hardware devices. We have had the pleasure of bringing our program to over 25 different schools, and have ran camps during Summer, Winter, and Spring breaks. We currently have 9 different instructors working with us, who bring classes to students every week.

Our team of nine instructors have been engaging classes and camps throughout the year, including summer, winter, and spring sessions with lessons that teach the process of music production, and empower students to make their own work with these tools. Witnessing the transformation in our students as they discover their unique musical voices has been incredibly rewarding. We've made it our mission to make music creation more available to students of all abilities, fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

The success of our programs among students hasn't gone unnoticed. Parents have been eager to join in the fun, prompting us to expand our offerings to include adult classes. Our "Intro to Ableton Live" and "Beats 'n Brews" series have been a hit, catering to individuals eager to embark on their own musical journeys.

Now, we're thrilled to announce a new chapter in our story. This spring, we've secured a 2000-square-foot space at the Lloyd Center Mall in Portland. This space will serve as our central hub, allowing us to expand our offerings while continuing our on-site classes at schools. It will be a place where we can host a variety of classes, camps, and events under one roof, providing an opportunity to further enrich the musical education experience for our students. With an anticipated opening in June, we're gearing up to make our new space a vibrant hub for musical exploration and creativity.

While we have the essentials covered, we're turning to our community for support to take our program to the next level. With your help, we aim to implement exciting projects that will enrich the experience for our students and community. From building state-of-the-art vocal booths to upgrading our projection and screening technology, every contribution will make a tangible difference.
