Elena's Senior Showcase Expenses

Hi friends and family, it's my senior year of college! But wait, Elena, isn't this only your third year? Yes it is! As some of y'all may know, I have decided to graduate from school a year early. Don't worry, though, your little drama queen is still pursuing musical theatre, so not too much has changed. That being said, I have the incredible opportunity to participate in my BFA program's Senior Showcase in New York City next semester. For those who don't know what a senior showcase entails, students get to perform "a package" (songs and a monologue) that represents them as a performer for many influential people in the industry. My school will also be filming our packages, which will be visible on a website that can then be shared with more important people. Hopefully, the exposure will open doors for future jobs and connections in the industry. My school is graciously covering the venue's cost and the cost of getting these industry professionals to us, but we will be responsible for the rest of the expenses. (Travel, Food, a Place to Stay, Videographer, and other costs that may come up in the coming months) This is where I need your help!

As you can see, this experience is absolutely crucial for a performer trying to follow their dreams, but it is also costly and stressful to navigate.
