Elena’s Wheels

Hello, my name is Noemi . I’m Elena’s mom. After a long time of fighting I’ve decided to give this a try . My daughter Elena was born with a rare condition called Chromosome Deletion. This has stolen her ability to walk, talk, sit and even emotionally express her self. Although we need so much for her own comfort at this time we are in desperate need of a wheelchair. Unfortunately she has outgrown her last wheelchair and sadly has never grown to like it. She has a difficult time sitting on it and feeling secured due to its uncomfortable design. After many attempts of trying through insurance we’ve yet to receive an approval or even an answer . Elena loves getting out and taking a stroll . But unfortunately we are limited to how far we can get due to safety. Elena has poor head control and tends to nod back and forth and that is dangerous to her neck and head because it can cause serious injuries. At this moment we have found an amazing wheelchair but it is outrageously expensive. I am creating this go fund me in hopes to be able to reach part of the goal .
