Eleni's Miss New Jersey 2023 Fundraiser

Hello, my name is Eleni Papadopoulos, and I'm 1 of 100 women selected to compete for Miss New Jersey 2023. I grew up in Roselle Park, NJ and my family and I have lived there my entire life. I began my educational journey after being accepted into a scholars program called NJSEEDS. I had the opportunity to attend a private school in Massachusetts, and from there, I attended Connecticut College. I returned to my home state and am currently a D.O./Ph.D student at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Through the help of mentors and experiences along the way, I am proud of where I am in life today. I chose to participate and compete for the title of Miss New Jersey to represent females in science and medicine as well as first-generation students across our lovely state of New Jersey.

I have lived off student loans during my time at RowanSOM and do not have the monetary means to continue in the competition. I am fundraising to help alleviate the cost of competing for Miss New Jersey. Registration and fees are $1500 and the rest of the cost is for the red carpet, interview and fitness portion of the pageant (gowns, shoes, hair & makeup, jewelry).
