ELF fundraising BBQ in memory of Conor Jones
On Wednesday 27th of December we lost our beloved Conor to blood cancer. He had just turned 31 years old.
After 20 months of fighting relentlessly against this horrible disease, there was nothing else they could do for him. He fought courageously in a battle he didn't choose.
Conor made this world a better place with his kindness, hard work and passion for the animals and the environment. He was a gentle and loving person and we couldn't be prouder of him. He was an incredible doctor that always put his patients first, always getting involved in research projects to make people's lives better. He has been taken too soon.
ELF helped Conor in many ways throughout his treatment, so our fundraiser is our way of saying a massive ‘Thank you’ to them for the support they gave him and continue to give other’s suffering with Leukaemia.
ELF’s vision is that every family affected by blood cancer or a blood disorder in the South West receives compassionate, tailored support. They can lighten the load, supporting patients and families from diagnosis, through treatment and after treatment, at hospital and in the local community.
Want to join me in making a difference? Any donation will help make a real impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
