Elgin Tornado Survivor - Riley Leon

Hello, my name is Bianca Jaimes. I am creating this GO FUND ME for one of my students at IDEA Rundberg, Riley Leon, 16, who was the person involved in the terrifying tornado that hit the Elgin/Round Rock/Austin area on Monday, March 21, 2022. This incident was caught in a video that has since gone viral all over the country. Riley's red Chevy pickup truck is seen swirving on its side in the middle of the tornado on his way home from a job interview. Riley is so lucky and blessed to have made it out of this terrifying incident. His truck was totaled, but for the most part, he is doing ok. Unfortunately, he has begun to experience body aches and severe back pain, as one would expect after this type of accident.

 

Riley's family and I have decided to set up this page in the hopes of helping this young man out primarily to help with medical expenses, as the family does not have any health insurance. His truck was also totaled, and he is now left with no transportation to school.

 

Let's rally around this young man and help him out in this time of need. He is a lovely, bright student making plans to graduate next year and could genuinely use some love from our community and anyone else who may have viewed this video and prayed for the passengers.

First of all I would like to thank everyone that donated to Riley and his family.
I will like to inform you all that I will be closing up the fundraiser and withdrawing the funds and transferring them to Riley's mother, Elvia Leon.
