Eli Kassler Wish List

This holiday comes with some trying news. Eli Kassler is a 13-year-old hockey player who was diagnosed with Leukemia in June of 2017.  Eli lives in Antigo, WI with his parents Clint and Corrie along with sister Emily.  At the time of his diagnosis, he was a top hockey player in the Midwest, perhaps nationally.

Two and a half years into his difficult battle with cancer, he has developed significant side effects to the immune-boosting anti-cancer drugs. The most troubling side effect is a notable bone deterioration which, unfortunately, has forced him off most of his medication and away from the sports and friends he loves.  The fear is without this medication there is a risk of cancer relapse and immune deficiency.

Without thinking negatively, we are trying to support one of Eli's top bucket list items.  As he continues to battle, several of his close family friends have helped arrange a highly discounted "Hunt of a Lifetime" for Red Stag in Texas.  (https://acranchtx.com/)

We would like to send the family on this trip in the next several weeks (barring Eli's health). We have a goal of $10,000 for this trip. In one week we have already raised almost half the goal from part of the hockey community. We are viewing this as the sports community acting together by taking care of one of there own young Wisconsin sports enthusiasts.  Hopefully, we can wrap up the fundraising by January 10th if possible.

Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
