Eli Klepper Recovery Fund

At an annual eye exam on August 23 when Eli's eyes were dilated the doctor noticed his optic nerves were enlarged which meant something was putting pressure on them. Eli was referred for an MRI on August 27. On August 28 the results of the MRI were confirmed and Eli was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Eli underwent brain surgery on August 30 to remove the tumor. A follow-up MRI on August 31 proved that a piece of the tumor was still in there and it needed to come out. The first surgery was cut short because Eli's motor function sensors on his right side stopped responding. The surgeon did the right thing because she preserved his motor skills.
After a 45 minute discussion with the surgical team, Willie & Leslie, with Eli's affirmation of "Let's do this" agreed that a second surgery was needed. On September 1 Eli received his 2nd surgery to remove the remainder of the tumor. The tumor, which was an odd consistency and more abnormal than the surgeon originally suspected, has been sent to St. Jude for pathology along with the latest MRI for confirmation that they got it all. They are still waiting on results. While Eli has made a miraculous recovery in such a short time he still has a long road ahead of him. He was discharged from the hospital on September 5 and continues to improve daily and for that we are thankful.

Everyone who knows Willie & Leslie know without a doubt they are most humble and would NEVER ask for money. However, there has been an overwhelming request from people who want to help but don't know how. With their blessing, we figured this would be the best route for those who feel led to donate to help with medical expenses or whatever they might need to recover from a 9 day hospital stay, 3 MRIs, 2 brain surgeries and any additional expenses they may incur during Eli's rehabilitation period. Willie & Leslie are so incredibly grateful for your love, support and prayers shown to them. They have seen God's hand at work since Eli began this journey and have faith God will provide any need they may have. Their story has touched so many lives and their testimony is increasing the faith and drawing others to Jesus and we know that God is using them for His glory. Please donate to help my dear friends if you can and keep the prayers coming for good MRI and pathology results and complete healing for Eli. Praising the Lord and claiming victory in Jesus name! ❤
