Hello everyone,

As most of you know, our little angel, Eliana, came into this world on November 25th. It was a long and exhausting three days for my wife, Stephanie, who bravely endured labor. Our joy quickly turned to concern when the doctors realized something was wrong after cutting the umbilical cord. Eliana turned blue, and we received the devastating news that she has a rare heart condition that went undetected during pregnancy.

Our precious Eliana now requires surgery and an extended stay in the NICU. This challenging journey means we travel daily to the hospital to spend as much time with her as possible during visiting hours. The cost of parking each day adds up, and on top of that, there are unexpected medical expenses that our insurance doesn't fully cover. From travel and food to essential medical supplies for Eliana's care post-hospital, it's been an overwhelming financial burden.

Currently, we are a dual military family serving in the US Navy. In just a few weeks, I will be medically retiring from the service and becoming a veteran.

We're planning to create a GoFundMe campaign to help us cover these unexpected costs and ease the anxiety of transitioning Eliana home after her hospital stay. Eliana is a IUI miracle and the missing piece to our family.
