Eliana’s Medical and Badminton Journey

Hi everyone! My name is Eliana and I am a medical student at McGill University and an an international level competitive badminton player aspiring to compete at major events such as Uber World Cup, Pan Am University Games, and one day, the Olympics. I am a 5x Canadian Junior National Champion, 2023 Canadian National Champion, 2022 Pan Am Cup silver medalist, and 2022 Peru International Challenge bronze medalist.

Studying full-time as a medical school student while training and competing on the national and international circuit these past few years has definitely been challenging, especially as an athlete in Canada where it is difficult to find sponsors/funds. That’s why I am starting this Gofundme as a way to pay for my medical education, and my badminton trainings and tournament expenses. Every dollar counts and it would mean the world to me to be able to chase my passion and achieve my dreams. Thank you <3
